Dining at the Riverside

For many of the inn's guests, the most memorable part of their stay is their dining experience. The dining rooms overlook the river and offer a vantage point from which to view eagles, harbor seals, and other wildlife during daylight hours. The Riverside is a fully licensed restaurant serving over forty wines, beers and spirits.

The Riverside's innkeepers, Rocky and Ellen, received culinary training in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rocky is the restaurant's head chef and Ellen enjoys creating exciting side dishes, salads, and delectable desserts. They each bring their individual cooking style and creativity to enhance the traditional Down East fare of lobster, scallops and haddock, and in the creation of unique dishes of their own, such as Red Tuna Wontons and Pistachio Crusted Pork Medallions.
