About the Riverside Inn Bed & Breakfast

History of the Inn 
Built in the 1800s, the inn was the former home to two sea captains—Captain William E. Elliott, in the mid-1800s, and Captain James F. Chase, in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Guest rooms are available in the main house (shown at left in above photo) and the coach house (shown at right).

The Innkeepers 
The innkeepers, Ellen McLaughlin and Rocky Rakoczy renovated the inn to offer "1830s elegance with Down East comfort". They both received training in the culinary arts in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rocky is the inn's chef, serving traditional Maine fare, as well as his own creative entrees.
